Well then. I've been wondering how to resume posting here. I've not had the best year (well, more like 18-20 months or so, but it started slow) health-wise, and crawling out from myself and back into respectable interaction with people and society has been a struggle. It's hard when your doctor doesn't understand the extent to which you are deteriorating, when explicitly told that before our next visit I'd have lost a ton of weight, and nothing happens quickly.
Anyway, I don't want to get into specifics, and certainly I don't want to bore anybody. Suffice it to say that I've managed to restart my personal writing, and with a little effort, I've also gotten a paying gig. It's still in the process of my introduction to the work environment, standards, and subject matter, so I won't say any more yet, but I'll be posting about it in the coming months, you can count on that.

In the meantime, to reorient myself with this blog, I'm going to be trying to put out two articles a month, starting in February. I'm unsure of the topics at this point, and I think if I see an opportunity, I'll link it to my new job to see what kind of cross-connections between one subject, and literary analysis/creative writing, I can manage. That's still the focus here: creative writing tips, oddities of personal experience in the field, maybe even information on my current projects.
That's really about it. This isn't supposed to be comprehensive, or even long. I just wanted something to start out this new opportunity without just posting out of the blue about some subject or another, and providing no answers, to basic potential questions. I hope someone gets something out of what follows, as I have since I started this in the first place. We'll see if that actually happens.
